Fostoria Infrared Heaters

We are an authorized distributor for Fostoria Industries, a manufacturer of infrared heating systems.

Total Area Heating, Indoor Spot/Zone Comfort Heating, Outdoor Spot/Zone Comfort Heating or snow & ice control. The Mul-T-Mount is not to be used in any indoor residential applications. The units are UL listed for both semi-exposed and completely exposed outdoor areas. Two element units are available in an aluminized steel or stainless steel housing. Thirteen models are stocked and are shipped with clear quartz lamps included. Three elements give a 50 percent higher wattage density for a given reflector pattern.  Heat Distribution and Reflector Patterns.  These heaters provide a balanced 3-phase when wiring into a 3-phase system. Sizes range between 24" x 15" x 10-7/8" and 46" x 21-1/2" x 10-7/8". Mount horizontally only. Mounting brackets included for adjustable ceiling or elevated wall mounting using Fostoria optional installation bracket.


&  UL listed for indoor, recessed, suspended, totally exposed (totally unprotected outdoor) and high bay (indoor) applications.

1 per Tee = 4800 Watts = 20°- 30° F apparent temperature rise. To achieve desired results, mount heater at an 8' - 10' height. Center on pad but place heater approx. 3' directly behind the tee with a 15° inward tilt.

Optional Controls: Note: Any control option must be used in conjunction with a load center (breakers) or contactors to handle installed electrical load (amps).

Built-in surface mounting brackets allows for fixture adjustment up to 45° horizontal tilt, as shown with the illustration below:


Built-in surface mounting brackets attached to the top wiring channel. 0 to 45° Tilt @ 15° increments. Allows the unit to be tilted (up to 45º from horizontal) when the unit is surfaced mounted.

Optional Controls:

Fostoria VHC-32 Variable 208/240 Volt Controller. Solid-state power control designed to provide a convenient way to adjust heat output on electric infrared heating elements. Control heaters on patios, in shelter houses or other protected outdoor environments. It can operate quartz lamps or quartz tubes up to a maximum of 3200 watts.  Not for residential use.  
Fostoria FTC-30 30-Minute Manual Timer. Includes time switch, wall plate and knob control. 208/240 Volts, 28 Max. Amps.
Solaira 120/240 Volt Control for Quartz Heaters.  Variable Heat Controller is a weatherproof, digital, solid-state power control designed to adjust heat output from 10% to 100%. On/off switch, “SOFT START” brings the power up slowly to increase emitter life. Up/down controls with heater level shown on the LED front panel. Installation in both indoor or outdoor applications including wet environments. Controls Quartz lamps or tubes of 115- 120 VAC up to 1600 Watt, 208- 240 VAC up to 3200 Watt.
