Translucent quartz as the enclosure
5/8" diameter clear quartz envelope (except 671-3492 and 671-3494 which is 3/8" dia.)
Nickel-chrome alloy coiled element. Filament operates at approximately 1600⁰F at normal voltages.
Porcelain end cap, cemented in place, eliminate short-outs. Since air is present inside, there is no reason to seal the ends.
Approx. 4" pigtail termination.
Color temperature emitted: Bright orange glow
Approximately 60% radiant efficiency
Fast heat-up and cool-down
