Infrared heating is ideal for overhead "Spot" or "Zone" heating applications. Fostoria quartz infrared heaters have nearly instantaneous heat-up and can provide heat for specific areas within a large, open facility where a forced air heater would require more time and energy to heat.

Single Phase

A 6, 3 wire molded plug and cordset is standard

MOUNTING: 46" models heat an approximate 10' x 12' area at an 8 ft mounting height. (Recommended mounting height 7 to 9 feet) 57" models heat an approximate 12' x 14' area at a 10 ft mounting height. (Recommended mounting height 8 to 10 feet) Heaters must be a minimum of 24" from combustibles, 3" from the ceiling and 36" apart. Requires a 12" minimum from a vertical surface. "WARNING: Do not use any product without first reading the safety and installation instructions packed with each product."

They can be suspended by chains or mounted with optional Fostoria brackets. Two 2' mounting chains and 4 S-hooks included for chain mounting or unit can be surface mounted using optional brackets (CH-MB) which allow up to a 45 degree horizontal tilt adjustment

VMB-41-SS

One inch angle iron vertical mounting bracket used for mounting fixtures at least 36" from a vertical surface to the center of the heater. Can be used with swivel bracket. Two brackets included.

Optional Wire Guard

Optional use for protection. Constructed of heavy gauge chrome plated steel wire. 6" x 1 1/2" mesh size.

Optional Controls:

	Payne Controls Company 18TP-1-15 Variable Voltage Control. 120 Volt, Portable solid state power control, single-phase, 50/60 Hz input, 15 amp fuse, 6 foot plug & cordset. Can be used with the CH-46C. Click here for more information
