Fostoria Infrared Heaters

We are an authorized distributor for Fostoria Industries, a manufacturer of infrared heating systems.

The Fostoria Restaurant Patio Heater (RPH) has a stainless steel housing and offers high efficiency electric infrared heat.  The specially designed reflector delivers infrared heat in a precise pattern for outdoor dining and other patio uses. Pairs and groups of heaters can be controlled from a central location.

  • Ruby Red Quartz T-3 Lamp Included. Replacement Lamps are available
  • 1600 Watts (208 or 240 Volts) Single-Phase Wiring (*Consult us for three phase wiring)

  • 60° Symmetrical Reflector Pattern (Coilzak Bright Aluminum Reflector)
  • All models are and listed for Indoor Spot/Zone Comfort Heating and for completely exposed/unprotected outdoor applications.

Mounting Plate (provided) on top center allows heater to be mounted parallel or angled using a standard pipe nipple and box cover (supplied by installer).

Maximum comfort is achieved using two heaters per tee. (3200 Watts.) To achieve desired results, mount heaters 6' apart at an 8' height and tilt heaters 15° inward. Use 30° conduit nipple - (supplied by installer) to achieve 15° inward tilt. Heaters can be fixed in place under canopy or attached to walls and poles.

Optional Controls:
Fostoria VHC-32 Variable 208/240 Volt Controller. Solid-state power control designed to provide a convenient way to adjust heat output on electric infrared heating elements. Control heaters on patios, in shelter houses or other protected outdoor environments. It can operate quartz lamps or quartz tubes up to a maximum of 3200 watts.
Solaira 120/240 Volt Control for Quartz Heaters.  Variable Heat Controller is a weatherproof, digital, solid-state power control designed to adjust heat output from 10% to 100%. On/off switch, “SOFT START” brings the power up slowly to increase emitter life. Up/down controls with heater level shown on the LED front panel. Installation in both indoor or outdoor applications including wet environments. Controls Quartz lamps or tubes of 115- 120 VAC up to 1600 Watt, 208- 240 VAC up to 3200 Watt.
Fostoria FTC-30 30-Minute Manual Timer. Includes time switch, wall plate and knob control. 208/240 Volts, 28 Max. Amps.
