Complete ready to connect radiant heating assemblies manufactured by Chromalox®. The quartz tube elements are mounted in a sturdy extruded aluminum housing containing a highly polished aluminum parabolic reflector.

Featuring one 3/8" or 1/2" dia. quartz tube in a housing assembly available in lengths between 13 1/16" (33.18 cm) and 103 7/8" (2.64 m). Width is 3 11/16" (9.37 cm).

Features:

Higher Operating Temperatures than metal sheath elements permit faster work speeds in some applications.
More Responsive Heat-Up/Cool-Down makes quartz tube heaters suitable for applications requiring immediate operating temperature and/or quickly reduced heat in event of work stoppage.
Quartz Elements are Highly Resistive to Thermal Shock but are subject to mechanical breakage. This can be minimized by careful handling and the use of protective grilles which are furnished separately.
Specially Designed Terminal Blocks adjust for 3/8 or 1/2" dia. quartz elements.
Process Temperature Control — Radiant heater output may be controlled with Chromalox SCR Power Controllers, Percentage Timing Input Controls and Non-Contact Temperature Sensors.

Construction:

Quartz Elements are Mounted in Sturdy Extruded Aluminum Housing containing a highly polished aluminum parabolic reflector.
Easy Horizontal Mounting Only — Mounting clamps and bolts are furnished for back attachment to straight or specially formed steel straps, etc. Housing may only be in any position in horizontal plane.
Highly Polished Aluminum Reflectors give good reflectivity and heat transfer, and are easily cleaned to maintain energy efficiency.
