Fostoria Infrared Heaters

We are an authorized distributor for Fostoria Industries, a manufacturer of infrared heating systems.

Fostoria provides the contactor panels matched to the needs of your application. A contactor panel is necessary to handle the heating KW load in a given infrared installation.

Since infrared heaters do not have contactors built into the units, it is necessary that they be supplied elsewhere. With a prewired "FPC" from Fostoria, all that need be supplied by the installer are fuses, and an optional main disconnect or circuit breaker.

Important Fusing Information: Fuses are not included since panels can be used with various infrared heat sources.  Quartz lamp heat sources: Use FRS-R 600V (or equal) "Time Delay" fuses; class RK-5.  Quartz Tube & Metal Sheath Heat Sources: Use KTS-R 600V (or equal) "Fast Acting" fuses; class RK-1. Fuse circuits as close to calculated load as possible. Circuits less than 35 amps will require the use of fuse reducers.
