Ceramic Fiber Blanket (Lower Density than
550K)

Fiberfrax® ceramic fiber insulation manufactured by Unifrax Corporation, from alumina-silica materials,
offer outstanding thermal and physical characteristics. Exhibiting low thermal
conductivity, excellent thermal stability, low heat storage, resistance to thermal shock,
excellent corrosion resistance and are easy to fabricate and install.
Available in your choice of square foot sizes (please order in 4 square foot
increments - example: 1' x 4') Also available as a 100 square foot boxed roll (48"
x 25')
1/4" thick x 48" wide ceramic fiber insulation rated to 2300°F
(1260°C). It is a flexible but fairly rigid insulation and is easy to cut into various
shapes. It is made from an unwashed high purity ceramic fiber. Its higher density and
binders give performance properties ideal for most refractory-type applications.
